WOW Celebrates Web Professionals Day:: Designates April 29 Web as Web Professionals Day to Honor Hard Working Web Professionals Everywhere

WOW, the not-for-profit professional association for Web Professionals created the holiday to honor Web Professionals worldwide – the individuals and teams, who create, develop, maintain secure, optimize and market Web sites around the globe.

It’s a great time to be a Web Professional according to Scott Fegette, Product Manager at Adobe Systems, the company that supports Web Professionals by revolutionizing how the world engages with ideas and information – anytime, anywhere and through any medium.

WOW introduced the holiday several years ago in collaboration with GODaddy, Inc. and to celebrate its annual event, WOW launched the WebProfessionalsDay.org website specifically to promote Web Professionals.

“Web Professionals are diverse and provide a great skill set for any organization,” said Bill Cullifer, Executive Director, World Organization of Webmasters (WOW). “Considering the key role the Web plays in businesses today, these professionals are proving their worth day in and day out.”
